Position Summary
Sunshine Community Health Center (SCHC) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's Human Resources functions. This position works closely with executive and senior leadership to support workforce planning, employee relations, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, performance management, organizational development, and HR compliance.
The Human Resources Director serves as a strategic advisor to leadership while ensuring HR programs, policies, systems, and day-to-day practices are effective, consistent, and aligned with SCHC's mission and operational needs. This position also provides leadership to the Human Resources team and supports a compliant, engaged, and effective workforce.
This position offers a flexible work arrangement, with approximately 50%-75% remote work available. Regular on-site presence at SCHC locations is required to support leadership, employees, organizational initiatives, and operational needs.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least seven years of Human Resources experience.
Strong knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and Human Resources best practices.
Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, delegate appropriately, and adapt to changing organizational needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to effectively use or quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
Experience providing Human Resources leadership within a healthcare, community health, nonprofit, or similarly regulated environment.
Experience advising executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, employee relations, and compliance matters.
Experience developing HR metrics, dashboards, or workforce reports to support organizational decision-making.
Experience leading or mentoring Human Resources professionals.
